What's Sandi reading?  Recommended Books From Dallas, TX Event

Wow!!  What an amazing event we had in Dallas this past weekend!!

Thank you so much to all attendees, at both the live and virtual events, for making it such a success.  We couldn't have done it without you!  It was an absolute blessing and joy to meet everyone at the live event.

Now that we're all back home, it's time to activate what we learned from Sandi, PJ, and Rabbi Lapin.  I don't know about you, but I'm chomping at the bit to get started!  During the event, Sandi recommended several excellent books to read; books that will educate, and help grow and excite the mind.  Those books are listed below, so start reading!

What's Sandi reading?

Thou Shall Prosper by Rabbi Daniel Lapin

If you're looking for specific actionable steps to take to prosper in any economic climate, then this is the book for you.  It combines real world business examples with ancient Jewish wisdom, organized into the ten "commandments" of making money, the ten principles that never change, even as the world around us changes.  Take these commandments to heart and put Rabbi Lapin's words into action.

Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking by Malcolm Gladwell

How do we make decisions?  How do we make choices in the blink of an eye, seemingly without thinking?  In Blink, Malcolm Gladwell examines why some people are much better decision makers than others, and how our brains really work to make decisions.  He shows us how to become great decision makers, and what factors really count when making quick, smart decisions.

Wild at Heart by John Eldredge

John Eldredge challenges men to be who God truly wants them to be, made in the image of God, returning to "authentic masculinity" by searching for their "true wildness of heart."  He challenges men to do this by having an ongoing, intimate relationship with God.  Women are also encouraged to read this book to understand, as well, exactly who God truly wants the men in their lives to be, embracing masculinity, not apologizing for it.

The Gift in You by Dr. Caroline Leaf

What is God's purpose for you, and what is your unique gift, the one given to you by God when you were "knit in your mother's womb," as Sandi loves to say? Look no further for the answer than The Gift in You by Dr. Caroline Leaf.  She helps to unlock that exact question, combining neuroscience with God's purpose, in an enjoyable, easy to understand format.

Personality Plus by Florence Littauer

Each of us has a unique set of traits that sets us apart from everyone else, and those traits affect everything you do, as well as those around you.  That unique set of traits combines to fit one way or another into a particular personality profile: Melancholy, Plegmatic, Sanguine, and Choleric.  It sounds complicated, but it's really quite simple once you take the test inside the book.  This test helps you to discover your personality profile, and what makes you tick, as well as helping you to identify the personality profiles of those around you:  co-workers, spouse, family members, etc.  When armed with that knowledge, understanding people with different personality profiles than yourself becomes much, much easier!

Supernatural Ways of Royalty by Kris Vollotton and Bill Johnson

You are a member of God's royal family!  But do you have the mentality of a prince or a pauper?  Kris Vollotton and Bill Johnson show you how to get rid of your pauper mentality, instead embracing that of a prince!  You will learn how to rid yourself of negative mindsets and attitudes, and step out from under your poverty-based thinking to live the life God wants you to live.

Spirit Wars by Kris Vollotton

Spiritual warfare is all around us — but do you know it well enough to spot it and prevent it from taking over?  Kris Vollotton helps you to spot spiritual warfare, and arms you with the weapons you need to defeat it, while sharing his own story of spiritual warfare.  Learn from his story and be set free!

How Do You Kill 11 Million People? by Andy Andrews

How do you kill 11 million people?  The number of people killed by the Nazi Regime between 1933 and 1945.  Using that thought-provoking question as the basis, Andy Andrews examines several questions, all meant to help you become a more informed, aware citizen, demanding what you want for the future of America, not happy to blindly follow the path of least resistance.

Who Switched Off My Brain? by Dr. Caroline Leaf

It happens to all of us — one toxic thought enters into your head and takes over all reason and logic, affecting us both emotionally and physically.  Dr. Leaf shows us 13 ways to "detox your thought life" and live clear-headed and whole, and does so in a very easy to understand approach.  If you find yourself dealing with negative emotions on a consistent basis, and need to "de-clutter" your brain, Who Switched Off My Brain? will put you on the right track toward mental clarity and freedom.

There you have it!

12 amazing books from Sandi's "What's Sandi Reading?" list — each one a brilliant and highly-regarded book to help guide you to activate everything that you learned in Dallas this past weekend.  I know which one I'm reading first — do you?
