"You're a natural!" From the time he did his first broadcast assignment, Dave King has heard those three words – and for the past 20 years, Dave has captivated audiences in virtually every performance medium available – especially television.

As an actor, Dave appeared in several hit television programs including The Cosby Show, Law and Order, Kate and Allie, Hack, Party Down and, most recently, The Event. Dave also had contract roles on two soap operas. On All My Children, Dave was the heart-breaking Mike Gordon, the center of a love triangle between Mimi and Derek. On Another World, he was the tough-talking chief of detectives, Billy Cooper. In addition to national series television, Dave has also appeared in dozens of commercials and did well over a hundred voice-overs. 

Dave began his hosting career as an anchor on HBO Entertainment News and followed that with a stint as the host of Nine Broadcast Plaza on WWOR in New York. For more than a dozen years, he was one of the top program hosts for QVC, and is currently a Senior Program Host on the premium lifestyle network, ShopNBC.

Dave funnels his experience and passion for broadcast entertainment into his company, On Air Excellence, a Los Angeles based media training company. On Air Excellence specializes in honing on-air and business presentation skills, as well as proficiency in public speaking. Dave's extensive client list includes on-air guest experts, television hosts, performers, CEO's, financial experts, authors, medical professionals, sales executives and those who fear public speaking – over 80% of the country! Dave is one of the only media trainers in the country who has worked in front of the camera in every form of media, and he attributes his media training success to a very simple rule – "this is easy to understand, and we're gonna' have fun!" 

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University, where he played Free Safety for the legendary Joe Paterno.
